Units and calculation rules
Positive lengths up to 100,000; up to 4 decimal places. Coordinates may be negative. Results use the international foot (0.3048 m), 40 perches per rood and 160 perches per acre.
Use measured perpendicular heights, not sloping sides. Four side lengths alone cannot determine an arbitrary plot. Polygon coordinates must use the selected unit and a common planar origin. Results are estimates from your measurements, not a cadastral survey or legal deed.
